Med Section All-Day Seminar - SORRY, NOW FULLY BOOKED

Whether you are just preparing to set off for the Med or whether you wish to explore new cruising areas there, the Med Section All-Day Seminar is the place to be on March 9th. Invariably the event is a sell-out, with both new and experienced members attending. The Seminar is a mix of presentations in the morning covering various aspects of Med cruising and a less formal afternoon session where you can wander round the various tables and seek advice from experts on different cruise areas, equipment, regulations etc.

 10:10-10.50     A Tour of the Northern Aegean - Vyv Cox

 In May 2013 we left Leros heading northwards roughly parallel with the Turkish coast as far as Limnos, where we turned south again along the Greek mainland coast, finally heading east and back to Leros at the end of June. En route we visited about 20 islands, taking hundreds of photographs and a few videos, recording the varied sailing, superb scenery and some of the highlights of the friendly reception afforded us by the Greek people.

We all spend more ‘hours’ living on our boats than we do sailing them. Here we will offer our views on domestic equipment and practices that we have found help make life easier or more comfortable, given the constraints on the living and storage space.
