The Society Islands: A Pacific Paradise, by Paul Brown

In March 2016, the crew of Little Wing willingly abandoned the cold, rainy days of boat maintenance and instead took a bus, train, three planes and a truck to arrive at the Society Islands in French Polynesia for a sailing charter.  Paul and family were able to enjoy two weeks of cruising around this Pacific paradise, exploring the islands of Raiatea, Tahaa, Bora Bora and Huahine, and the numerous small islands and motus found within the lagoons of these reef-enclosed islands.

Angie sailed a 9 ton Hillyard solo across the Atlantic to Jersey way back in 1977 before GPS was even dreamt about.  David gained his RN Ocean Navigation Certificate in 1972 by helping navigate one of Her Majesty's frigates from Perth WA to Gibraltar.

Since leaving Guernsey in 2008, together that have sailed some 60,000 nm including six ocean crossings, wherever possible choosing the route less travelled, including Cocos Keeling, the Chagos archipelago and the Atlantic coast of Morocco.
