Status Summary

  1. Can I and my crew get to my boat and back?
    The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) continue to advise British nationals against all non-essential travel to Algeria. The FCO advise against all travel to areas within 30km of the borders with Libya, Mauritania, Mali and Niger and Tunisia. [FCO]

    14 day quarantine in the UK when entering from Algeria. On entering the UK, contact form must be completed. [FCO]

    On 28 June the Algerian President ordered that air, land and sea borders remain closed until further notice. [FCO]

  2. Restrictions sailing in-country and cross-border
    The CA has no information specifically on sailing restrictions but the FCO makes various travel restriction recommendations within Algeria and Libya.

  3. Social restrictions and requirements (and any special points)
    Some easing has started with businesses reopening and public transportation in cities resuming. All schools, nurseries, universities and mosques are closed; sporting events have been cancelled; public amenities and public spaces have been shut to the public.
