Covid-19 Restrictions on Cruising: Estonia


Status Summary

  1. Can I and my crew get to my boat and back?
    Borders open to EU but 14 day self-isolation for those from countries with an infection rate of <16/100,000. As of 31st July this includes the UK – infection rate 12.6.

    Leisure Vessels arriving from outside Estonia:

    Master of a recreational vessel must inform the nearest port police authority or a port authority of their arrival in Estonia (crossing the State border), who will then inform the nearest port police authority (Tallinn border inspection point tel. +372 619 1260), at least one hour before entering or leaving the port. The Police will carry out the border control based on the request. For a list of ports able to accept international arrivals see the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board web page

    Note. Estonia is now on the UK Government list of countries exempt from 14 days quarantine on arrival into the UK

  2. Restrictions sailing in-country and cross-border
    No known restrictions on in-country sailing. Check with ports and marinas for the latest updates about facilities available.
    Prohibited to enter from Russia (Third Country) and Sweden (infection rate >16)

  3. Social restrictions and requirements (and any special points)
    Bars, restaurants and nightclubs open but with limited capacity (50%). See ERR news below for more information.
