Status Summary

  1. Can I and my crew get to my boat and back?
    Morocco is NOT on the list of countries which are exempt from the FCO restrictions on non-essential travel. This may mean that your travel and health insurance is not valid, check with your insurance company before travelling .

    All travellers are advised to avoid non-essential travel to this country.

    Details of Entry requirements and testing are available on the UK Government site.

    Individuals entering or returning to the UK from this country will be required to follow additional UK border measures which includes self-isolation for 14 days.

  2. Restrictions sailing in-country and cross-border
    On 9 July, the Moroccan Government announced a further extension to the State of Health Emergency until 10 August, along with details of its strategy for easing restrictive measures. The strategy, which came into effect from 11 June, categorises provinces/prefectures in Morocco into two zones according to the pandemic situation in each province/prefecture. The wearing of face masks in public spaces remains mandatory.

    The Moroccan authorities review the categorisation of prefectures/provinces on a weekly basis.
