Covid-19 Restrictions on Cruising: Tunisia

Status Summary

  1. Can I and my crew get to my boat and back?
Yes. There is a ‘Green List’ which denotes those countries which may travel freely to Tunisia. The UK is on this list, as is Gibraltar and France. However, Tunisia is not on the UK list of countries which one may arrive from without a mandatory 14 day quarantine, so finding flights between the UK Tunisia may be difficult. They are available on Air France via Paris.

  2. Restrictions sailing in-country and cross-border
Travel around Tunisia, including sailing, is permitted. However, the N African neighbours of Tunisia (Morocco, Algeria, Libya) are not on the green list, so travel across sea borders would stop one returning to Tunisia and would lead to trouble with authorities. See the FCO advice about Tunisia generally.

  3. Social restrictions and requirements (and any special points)
While life is returning to normal, caf&eactue's, bars, restaurants and hairdressers remain closed.
