Covid-19 Restrictions on Cruising: UK - Northern Ireland
Status Summary
Northern Ireland has commenced on its "pathway" out of lockdown in five Steps:
- Day sailing, with own household or one other person, is currently permitted;
- Staying on board boats overnight is not permitted, though this is expected to be allowed (for single households) from Step 3. No date has yet been announced for this.
It is not clear when international travel to/from Northern Ireland will be permitted. Separate rules apply to the Common Travel Area, which includes the UK and Ireland.
The next review of Covid rules in NI is scheduled for 15th April.
See here for the pathway.
