Guide to the Canal Entre Champagne et Bourgogne

This guide covers the Canal entre Champagne et Bourgogne (formerly known as the Marne – Sâone canal or just the Heuilley canal after the point where it joins the Petite Sâone) runs for 224 kilometres between Vitry-le-Francois, where it links up with the Canal Latéral à la Marne and the Canal de la Marne au Rhin, and Maxilly sur Sâone.

Details are provided on all the marinas, haltes and other mooring points (even picnic stops) along the waterway, together with information on facilities, shopping and nearby attractions. Each mooring point is illustrated by a colour photo, meaning that the guide is the only detailed pictorial reference available for cruising on this waterway.

Members can download the Guide free. The downloadable guide includes links to all the moorings for which there are Cruising Reports currently available. Members viewing the Guide on their laptops, tablets or mobile phones are thus able to click directly through to individual Cruising Reports on the CA website – in addition, of course, to accessing them via the CAptain's Mate app.

This guide is one of a series of French canal mooring guides, produced and edited by Gordon Knight.
