The CA European Inland Waterways Section has released a 2024 Calendar, featuring inspirational photos of some of the most picturesque spots to be discovered on the inland waterways of France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.
The calendar includes all the main public holidays in the four principal inland waterways countries, so those cruising these waterways should never again find themselves stuck outside a lock or milling around in front of a lifting bridge wondering where everyone has gone!

EIWS Spring Seminar
Whether you are new to the inland waterways or a seasoned cruiser, the CA one-day EIWS Spring Seminar will share a wealth of information to help you make the most of your time exploring. Taking place from 1030-1700 on Saturday 2 March 2024 at CA House, London.
Open to both members and non-members, the seminar features talks by members with experience of these waterways, to provide inspiration and valuable information. There will be plenty of time for questions after each presentation, whilst during lunch and breaks you’ll have ample opportunity to socialise with members and chat about plans for the coming season. Lunch, plus coffee, tea and biscuits are included in the price and the bar will be open.
EIWS Cruising Guides
CA members can already treat themselves to free PDF copies of the 2024 EIWS cruising guides (Cruising the Inland Waterways of France and Belgium; Through France via the Inland Waterways; Through the Netherlands via the Standing Mast Routes; 50 Great Cruising Routes in the Netherlands; Cruising the River Moselle/Mosel and The German Rhine), as well as seventeen guides to moorings on the French rivers and canals or buy full colour printed versions from the CA Shop. Non-members can buy the guides in both digital and print format too.
