Events Administrator/Receptionist Vacancy

We are searching for an energetic and confident team member who is self-sufficient and able to demonstrate forward thinking skills. Our chosen Events Administrator/Receptionist must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, members, and other departments within the CA. This will require excellent writing skills, telephone manners and attention to detail.

Knowledge of the marine industry or a background in boating is preferable but not essential.

Duties of Post Holder:

  • Attendance at internal events which may include evening and weekend work*
  • Creating and administering events via our online booking system
  • Communicating with event organisers
  • Covering reception including emails and incoming calls
  • Undertaking general office administrative duties as required

It is imperative that all members of staff offer a flexible and reliable attitude to facilitate the needs of a small team. In order to assist the CA activities at evenings and weekends, work outside normal hours may be required. This will be based on a prior agreement with the Chief Operating Officer.

Based in London’s scenic Limehouse Basin, the CA offers flexible working, a friendly team environment and opportunities for progression and training.

*Working Hours: 30 hours per week, with scope to increase. Various shift patterns are available or reduced hours as part of a job share role. Please specify your preferred hours when applying.
