Commencing at 18:45 we will have a very brief Section meeting to update on latest news etc.
At 19:15 Andy and Karen Miller will give a talk entitled "The equipment your yacht needs to get to the Med and in the Med".
Andy and Karen Miller have sailed Suli to the Med from Chichester, and are now in Med Spain. They will share their ideas on how they equip their yacht for the Med ie solar panels, the dinghy, how to store the dinghy, outboard, davits (or lack of them) ,wind generators, batteries and battery management and charging, electronics, communications, sails, mooring devices, anchors, bimini, cooking on board, lighting, MOB kit, wind scoops, generators, propellers, boat and water heating, bikes, cleats, scuba kit…all the way to sink plugs!
As usual, participants will be able to order supper at the bar to eat after the talk, or before if you are really early!
