Living the Dream

Living the Dream, by Clare Harrison and Victor Farhi

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did.  So throw off the bow lines, sail away from the safe harbour.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover."  Attributed to H Jackson Brown.

Whilst working too hard in the office, two very definite landlubbers decided to find a sport they could learn and enjoy together.  2005 was Clare and Vic's first sailing holiday on Lanzarote and they were hood and bought their first boat.  In 2009 they joined the Cruising Association, became Wednesday evening talk addicts, and were inspired to stop dreaming and get on with it.  If other "normal" people could do it so could they.  The five year plan started to form and in 2014 they set off across Biscay.

Clare and Vic will tell how they prepared to start living the dream, and the ports and harbours they have explored so far along the way.
