Shotley Pier, Past, Present and Future, by its Rescuers - Booking Open

Peter Stebbings, with another volunteer director of the “Shotley Heritage Charitable Community Benefit Society", will explain the history of this local landmark, and the work being undertaken to restore it.

The talk will cover:

  • The reasons for its construction in 1894
  • Its history until 2018 when purchased by the Society
  • The renovation completed so far
  • The future of the Pier
