Site Visit to Suffolk Marine Safety, Great Blakenham near Ipswich

Liferaft and Lifejacket servicing experts, Suffolk Marine Safety, have agreed to explain what they do, and what they find, when servicing our kit, and give us a demonstration of MOB procedures. They will also show us their range of the latest electronic safety equipment including laser flares, EPIRBs and MOB alerts.

This is a good opportunity for you to leave your lifejackets and liferafts with SMS for a winter service. Once serviced you may either collect your equipment or SMS will return the raft back to you.

We plan to have lunch together in a local pub.

Date and Time: Friday 17th November 2023, meet at SMS premises at 09:50 for a 10:00 start, finishing at 13:00.

(If numbers exceed 25 we will arrange a second visit, on 16th January 2024, so that no one misses out.)

Venue: Suffolk Marine Safety, Unit 108, Claydon Business Park, Great Blakenham, IP6 0NL, take A14 Junction 52, six miles north of Ipswich.
