North Sea Section Secretaries, Peter Gibbs and John Blakemore, invite you to come to hear tales of the diverse North Sea cruising ground and join in the confession-fest for the greater enjoyment of our sport.
Visit to Languard Battery – Dover Coastguard – NOW FULL
A visit to the Languard Battery – Dover Coastguard has been arranged for 11am on Saturday, 23rd March 2013. Perched on the cliffs above Dover Harbour they keep a watchful eye monitoring the TSS [Traffic Separation Scheme] in the Dover Strait.
Simon recounts crossing the Southern North Sea in his Hallberg Rassey 43 SIMOON 1V. He takes us through Zebrugge to Brussels and then north to Antwerp and on via the masthead route through the Netherlands taking in Dortdrecht and Amsterdam. If you have not yet crossed the North Sea and ventured into the inland waterways then you are missing out on some excellent sailing areas…….

The Suffolk, Essex, and Kent Sections invite you to celebrate the start of the Sailing Season in true CA style with an informal rally, featuring some cruising, some gentle competition, some activities ashore, some entertainment, and to eat, drink and yarn with friends old and new.
There will be a passage “race” based on predicting your Estimated Time of Arrival at the RHYC. Details with the Joining Pack.
