1908
          
          CA formed with John Love our first President. Official launch of Henry Ford’s Model T Ford happened the same year.
        1909
          
          First CA Year Book Published and A.D. Hownam-Meek is first HLR (for Littlehampton!)

          First CA Bulletin published.
        1912
          
          First added harbour plans to the Year book.
        1913

          First World War. CA moves to Denison House, Victoria. AGM had 50 members present and the bank balance is £360!
        1918
          
          End of the WW1. Twelve CA members lost their lives serving their country.
        1923
          
          CA moved to larger premises in Albermarle Street, Mayfair and started a drive to develop a nautical library.
        1930
          
          CA moved to Chiltern Court.

          The CA Bulletin restarted after the war and reported “Petrol is available in France, and application should be made on arrival to the Captain of the Port.”
        1953
          
          Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Membership fees  2 Guineas! 2 Pounds, 2 shillings.
        1968 - 1969
          
          First added harbour plans to the Year book.

          CA moves to Ivory House, London.

          Mediterranean section formed.

          CA holds Baltic Millennium Rally.
        2019
          
          HRH The Princess Royal becomes an Honorary member of the CA.
        2022
          
          Mike Golding becomes an Honorary member of the CA and CAptain's Mate awarded 'Equipment Innovation of the Year'.
