A light-hearted evening talking about the work of a pilot at Harwich Haven Authority.

Cameron Jones will give an entertaining and informative talk about the vital role of a Harwich Haven Authority pilot for the UK trade. He’ll explain what is required to helm the biggest container ships in the world in and out of Felixstowe, Ipswich and Harwich ports.  As anyone who has sailed in the Orwell or the Stour will know, that’s a huge undertaking.

What: Winter Talk, with or without a meal.

Open to: Members of the CA, CS and RHYC and to non-members.

Guests: Members are encouraged to bring one guest each at the member's rate, just book your guest as an additional member when booking your place.

Non-Members: Additional guests of members, and also non-members, are welcome to attend at the non-member's rate.
