A journey in an open wood boat through pack ice, past glaciers, with walrus and polar bears.
Peter will talk through a boat journey that he made with a friend, back in the day, summer of 1991, around the island of Spitsbergen in the high Arctic. They rowed and sailed an open wooden boat through pack ice, past glaciers and got close to one or two polar bears. They survived wildlife, ran short of food, got suitably cold and wet and made it home to tell the tale.
