The lunch is a 2-course hot buffet (main and dessert) served with tea & coffee.

The Discovery Tour takes us through the College and the Sea Survival Centre, which mimics the conditions at sea. Please note that the RNLI College is a working venue and so we cannot guarantee access to the wave tank or simulator due to training requirements.

This tour is 90 minutes long.

 

Solent Club supper and talk

The evening’s talk is entitled “To the far side of the world” by Paul Ellis and covers the highs and lows of our circumnavigation.  The highs include the Panama Canal, the Pacific Islanders and sealife (whales, sharks etc).  The lows are a hurricane, mending boats in exotic places and piracy! Choose from a wide selection on the menu and pay direct to the restaurant on the night. 'Alfresco dining by the water. Frostbite Rally

Join us for a Frostbite Rally to Port Solent. For members wishing to sail please book your berths directly with the marina. We will greet you for a pizza at Zizzi (or other menu choices available). Very relaxed atmosphere in which to share new season planning as well as any winter cruising. We've booked a table for 12 on a first come, first served basis, don't delay, this could be a popular event!

Join us for at Chichester Yacht Club on 30 November, 7pm for a two course dinner. We hope to see members who live in this area and not normally seen at our other events.

For those wishing to sail to Chichester Marina and take a berth for the night, please contact the marina directly.

Our choice of mains is a Beef Bourguignon, slow cooked beef brisket with bacon lardons, silver skin onions & mushrooms in a red wine sauce. Served with buttered mash potato and sauteed green beans.
