Go West Rally 2026

A new event for 2026 organised by the CA Sections for Solent, Wessex, South West and Channel - a 'Relay Rally' along the English Channel coast.
This has meeting up points organised starting on the Isle of Wight (12 May) and finishing at the Yealm (7 June). There are gaps of a few days between most stops so members can explore the local sailing areas before moving on and meeting up again. And at each rally point sociable attractions such as walks, pontoon drinks and dinners have been arranged.
It is open to all CA members and participants can book all or parts of the rally as they wish (assuming there is space).

Folly Inn, Isle of Wight: Tues 12 to Thurs 14 May
Pontoon drinks, dinner at the Folly Inn, walks, pot-luck supper.
Lymington: Fri 15 to Sun 17 May
Pontoon drinks, Pub dinner, walks, Lymington market, Yacht club dinner.
Poole: Sun 17 to Tues 19 May
Pontoon drinks, Dinner at RNLI College
Portland: Sat 23 to Tues 26 May
Pontoon drinks, dinner at Salt restaurant.
Torquay: Fri 29 May to Mon 1 June
Pontoon drinks, English Riviera Air Show.
Dartmouth: Mon 1 to Wed 3 June
River trip or walk, pub lunch, dinner at Royal Dart YC.
The Yealm: Fri 5 to Sun 7 June
Pontoon drinks, lunch at Yealm Yacht Club
At all locations there will be lots of opportunity to socialise with other participants and visit local attractions supported by local hosts.
