CA Annual General Meeting

The CA’s Annual General Meeting took place on the evening of Wednesday 12 November 2025 at CA House, London.
Members were welcomed by Robin Baron, CA President and Nick Nottingham, Chair of Council, together with other Council members.
After the opening of the meeting and routine business, Nick Nottingham provided a comprehensive overview of the CA’s achievements in the past year and outlined upcoming projects. Appreciation was extended to the many volunteers who generously contribute their time and expertise to support the CA network.
Particular thanks were given in recognition of the work led by the volunteers involved in implementing the upgraded CA website.
Following the Council report, Honorary Treasurer Nick Clayton, presented the Financial Statements to year end 30 June 2025 which were approved.
Moving to the Council membership, David Lovejoy retired as a Vice-President and member of Council, with gratitude expressed for his invaluable contributions. Ann Crome, Malcolm Davidson and James Parnell were elected and welcomed as new members of Council. Bob Slay (elected 2023) and John Burbeck (elected 2024) were appointed as Vice-Presidents of Council. Nick Clayton and Jennifer Bowes were formally elected as Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Solicitor, respectively.
Nick Nottingham (elected 2021), continues for a third time in office as Vice-President and, as decided at the Council meeting following the AGM, will continue as Chair.
Seventy-five members registered to attend. Along with members in attendance at CA House, the AGM was pleased to welcome a virtual audience from the UK and abroad. Thank you to all our members who voted and attended the meeting.
