Welcome to the Midlands Section

The Midlands Section ensures that CA members living within travelling distance of Rutland Sailing Club, regardless of where their boat is kept, can actively participate in our cruising community.

The Midlands Area

With more than 200 CA members calling the English Midlands home, the CA Midlands Section is the dedicated hub in the heart of the region. Whether your boat is moored on the coast, inland or further afield, our Midlands Section is the home base and local community for CA members in the region. The Midlands Section will bring together members through social events, talks, training, and knowledge sharing at Rutland Sailing Club (RSC).

Where We Meet

We are based at Rutland Sailing Club (RSC), an RYA affiliated club and training centre with over 1000 members. It is a national centre for inland sailing sited on Rutland Water, one of Europe’s largest man-made lakes.
