Refer a Friend: August winner announced as September’s draw opens

Congratulations to CA member Gary Garside, the latest winner in the CA’s Refer a Friend prize draws. Gary has won a £150 bundle of books from Bookharbour - plenty of inspiration for planning future adventures, both afloat and ashore.

Reflecting on his CA membership and why he recommended a friend to join, Gary commented, “The CA does so much for cruising sailors, especially navigating the challenges following Brexit. CAptain’s Mate is like having a live almanac at your fingertips, very useful.”

The Cruising Association’s Refer a Friend programme rewards members for introducing others to the CA community and its many cruising benefits. Friends joining through a referral receive 20% off their first year’s membership1, while the referring member receives a £20 voucher2 to spend in the CA shop or towards cabin accommodation at CA House.

September’s prize draw is now open

Every successful referral made between April and September is automatically entered into that month's prize draw. So, if you've been encouraging friends to discover the benefits of CA membership, you're already in with a chance.

Sharing the benefits of CA membership is quick and easy.

  • your name under 'Recommendation', and
