The CA has evolved its membership options to make joining easier and to offer payment via a range of choices.

- Full Member - Save 20% and pay by monthly Direct Debit
For the first time, new members can spread the cost of Full Membership over 12 monthly Direct Debit payments of just £11.50.
The monthly payment option is available to all new, first-time members who join or apply to join by Saturday 31 October 2026. You can join in-person on Stand H244 at the Boat Show or apply directly to the CA Membership Secretary on membership@theca.org.uk or telephone +44 (0)20 7537 2828.
Membership covers two members living at the same address.
- Upgrade your Crewing Service Membership
If you are already a Crewing Service member, you can upgrade to a new Full Membership and take advantage of the special £138 membership rate when paying by Direct Debit or recurring card payment and the monthly Direct Debit payment option until 31 October 2026.
If you have time remaining on your current Crewing Service Membership, we’ll refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis, so you won’t lose out by upgrading early.

- Young Cruiser Membership – £50.00* a year
If you are aged 35 or under, our new Young Cruiser Membership gives you all the benefits of Full Membership for just £172.00* a year, whenever you choose to join. Membership is for one person.
It is an affordable way to become part of the CA community, with access to our wealth of cruising knowledge, services and member benefits
- Full Membership – one-off card payment
You can join the CA at any time by making a one-off card payment of £185.00*. Membership covers one or two members living at the same address.
- Crewing Service Membership
You can join the CA at any time as a Crewing Service member, either as one-person or two people at the same address.
Membership costs:
One-off card payment: £40.00* one-person / £53.00* two people
Direct Debit/Recurring card payment: £36.00* one person / £48.00* two people

Throughout the year, you can join the CA as a Full Member using our discount codes available from existing CA members and affiliate organisations
- Member Referrals: if you are referred by an existing CA member, you can enjoy 20% off your first year of Full Membership (when paying by Direct Debit or recurring card payment). Ask the CA Member for details and the offer code.
- Associations: Owner Associations, Clubs and other organisations/groups: if you are a member of a qualifying association, you can enjoy 15% off your first year of Full Membership (when paying by Direct Debit). Contact the listed Association for the offer code.
- More ways to pay
We have also made it easier to pay for your CA membership.
As well as Direct Debit, new members and existing members can now set up a recurring card payment using either a debit or credit card.
Recurring credit card payments provides greater flexibility, particularly for members who do not have a UK bank account or UK-issued debit card.
*Membership rates are subject to a potential increase effective 1 January 2027.
