Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, the first sailor to complete a solo non-stop circumnavigation in 1969 aboard his 32ft yacht Suhaili, is Patron of the Cruising Association (CA), the UK’s leading organisation for cruising sailors with over 6,000 members around the world.

The Cruising Association (CA), the UK's foremost member organisation for cruising sailors, is delighted to announce a relaunch of its partnership with leading marine clothing brand Henri Lloyd, to take immediate effect.
A major revamp of the South West Section is being launched today, Tuesday March 6th, with an enlarged coverage area, the introduction of the SWNet forum and the release of the first of a series of South West podcasts.
The South West section now includes the former Lyme Bay Section and now extends to Bristol. It now covers from Portland Bill to the Isles of Scilly and from the Isles of Scilly to Bristol.
This comprehensive one-day seminar is based both on Jimmy Cornell’s considerable personal experience and the practical information gathered as the organiser of 32 transatlantic and six round the world rallies.
