The Antrim Coast, Whirlpools and Crewing Services

Date:
Sat, 14/03/2020 - 19:00

In an update to the advertised programme, Alison Cable will start the post-supper talk with a session on the Antrim coast between Ardglass and Ballycastle with fascinating pictures and a focus on getting the tides right, the importance of local knowledge and what it feels like to have a whirlpool start to form around you.

After that Phil Barnes & Caroline Milmo will give us an introduction to how their separate crewing schemes work and, I'm sure, persuade us all to use them, from one or another side of the exchange.
