Beaujolais Nouveau evening

When: Thursday 20 November, 7pm

Where: Venue: Royal Airforce Yacht Club

The 3rd Thursday in November is one of the most exciting dates in the wine calendar, it’s Beaujolais Nouveau day!  We’ll start with the Beaujolais Nouveau and there'll be more matured wines available from the bar. Enjoy cheese and hams, charcuterie style for a very French evening, enter into the spirit of things, dressing French style! There’ll be prize for the best outfit - ooh la la!

Long boat trip to Little Venice in West London

Time: 11.15am but please arrive at the museum at least 30mins beforehand

Please supply your own plates, cutlery and glasses. Bring your own drinks. You might also want folding chairs, tables etc.

Frostbite Rendezvous to Port Solent, 18 January, 7pm

 Visit to Solent Coastguard and lunch

After a short presentation, we will be given a tour of the building - including the Ops Room (this will be subject to operational caveats) and a Q&A session. In all the visit will last approximately 2 hours.

Dennis and Janet will talk their trip up the inside passage from Vancouver to Alaska in May & June in 2002 in thier Oyster435 “Shilling”.

Together with our usual supper this is a very sociable occasion.

Join us for a club supper and talk at Emsworth Sailing club. We are hoping to have a local sailmaker or a talk on the manufacture of Prosecco using The Charmat method of production.
