Team Santy to the Baltic

How many crew does it take to sail on a passage to the Baltic? Join us on Wednesday 9th December and hear about the adventures and misadventures of yacht Santy on her voyage from Chatham to the Baltic, present by David Long and Mike Marsh.   

In 2013 the Passmore family and friends joined together to sail Santy, a Victoria 34 yacht through the Standing Mast Route to Travemunde on the north German coast. The project involved some complex logistics with the passage divided into manageable legs with crew changes at suitable locations. 

David and Mike will talk about their experiences and how the project came about.

There will be an opportunity for a meal beforehand: further details about this event and how to book to follow.

Due to the lack of availability of our usual venue at the Dog and Bear Hotel Lenham, we are fortunate to be able to host this event at Medway Yacht Club on the new date of Wednesday 9th December 2026.
