Malt Whisky Tasting and Haggis Supper

Following on from the Celtic Seminar during the day there will be a separate but themed whisky tasting in the evening. We are delighted to welcome Alec MacPherson to CA House to host a tasting of 6 Malt Whiskies and a haggis supper. The evening will commence with a complimentary malt whisky on arrival, followed at 19:00 by a smoked salmon starter accompanied by the first of the whiskies and then a haggis supper of haggis, neaps and tatties, piped to the table by Alec.
Alec will then take us on an exploration of whisky from the lowlands to the highlands, the Islands and not forgetting Ireland.
Why not stay after a day of contemplation of the wonderful Irish and Scottish coasts and enjoy a relaxed evening and supper. If you haven’t attended the day’s event then come anyway for a delightful an informative evening. We of the Celtic Section look forward to seeing you at CA House.
Cost is £25/head including whiskies, starter and haggis main course. There will be an opportunity to order a dessert from the bar at the conclusion of the tasting (usual bar prices apply).
