Visit to Trinity House Depot, Harwich and The Mayflower Project

Meet at 11:20, Trinity House, The Quay, Harwich
Meet for a conducted tour of the Trinity House Control Centre and depot from where the UK lighthouses and lightships are maintained and controlled. This will be followed by a fish and chips lunch at the renowned Pier Hotel and a conducted tour of the shipyard where a replica of the Mayflower is under construction and will commemorate the voyage of the Pilgrim Fathers to America which started from Harwich in 1620 and included many local people among the crew, including the captain, Harwich man Christopher Jones.
