For our first waterside lunch this coming winterin Octoberwe’ve picked a pub with great atmosphere and food.
The Chequers is located in the charming village of Goldhanger on the River Blackwater in Essex. We really enjoyed our last visit in January with a great lunch and a stroll down Goldhanger Creek afterward
