Marilyn Larthe: Tahitian and Brazilian Shores. For this talk, we are taken to warmer shores. Described by Amazon as an intrepid traveller, Marilyn has talked at Wessex Near and Far meetings in the past, and is now going to regale us with her experiences in exotic locations which most of us are only able to fantasise about. The Amazon review of her book - Papaya with Sugar - says that her “story is exciting and erudite. It is also occasionally frightening.” So this looks to be an informative and entertaining evening to round off the winter programme.
