The CA's Regulations and Technical Services Group (RATS) works on behalf of members to advise and campaign on matters affecting cruising boaters; in small boats, sail or power, offshore, inshore or inland and RATS member James Collier will talk about the work carried out by the group.
RATS is recognised nationally and internationally as the experts on nautical regulations, consulted by major sailing associations and governments. It was a member of RATS who had the recent fine imposed on a British yacht in Belgium withdrawn and the money returned within 48 hours.
