2024 Yearbook Alert – Has your contact information, boat or cruising waters changed?

As we gear up for the release of the 2024 CA Yearbook, we want to ensure that it accurately reflects members’ current contact and information details.

Why it matters

Your support in this process is essential to maintain the integrity of our cruising community directory. In early February, we will be exporting member and boat information for the 2024 Yearbook, and we want it to reflect members’ current information, boat details and cruising waters.

The CA would really appreciate if members could check their contact details and information by 1 February 2024.

Updating is a straightforward process – you can view and manage your personal information via your online account:

Logon to your account

Simply logon to www.theca.org.uk, then click on the ‘head and shoulders icon’ at the top right of the screen and select ‘My Account’ from the drop-down menu.

Personal Contact Information

From ‘My Account’ you can update your address, contact numbers, email and add a photo. Additionally, you can confirm whether you consent to share any of your personal information under GDPR rules. Your personal information will only be shared with other members if you have provided explicit consent.

Boat and Cruising Areas

From ‘My Account’ you can also input your boat name, type and specifications. You can also share your home port, MMSI number and tell us about your current and planned cruising areas. This information is a valuable member-to-member network and displays where members are cruising.

Household Members

If your membership has a ‘Household member’ with their own account and email address, they can login and update their own details. If your Household member does not have their own account, you can set this up via the 'Household Pane'.

the Household member does not wish to have their own account, their details can be updated by emailing office@theca.org.uk. For further details on updating Household member information click here.

Section Membership

Whilst updating your contact information, why not also review the Sections you are a member of and join one of our 17 Sections, spanning local groups around the UK and broader networks in popular cruising areas around the world.

Members usually opt to joint at least two Sections, one close to home and another in their cruising area. You can join as many or as few as you like. Section membership allows you to be more involved in the areas of interest to you, gain first-hand knowledge and advice and socialise with other members.

Other Preferences

You can also register your interest in becoming a CA volunteer, adjust your privacy settings, and opt out of receiving printed mailings and emails.
