Lessons learnt and disasters I have created as a Skipper, by Roger Shaw

Roger Shaw is Commodore of Henley Offshore Group. He has sailed over 22,000 miles in the Baltic, South Coast of England, USA and recently completed a three year cruise from Plymouth to Corfu, very slowly. He will talk, amongst other things, about being a "Nanny Skipper", avoiding Pirates off Lanzarotte, putting diesel into the holding tank for 8 weeks, killing rats and avoiding a collision with a US submarine in dense fog. Also how to keep the crew (and wife) happy on board.
