The Mediterranean Section has organised another land rally, this time to Cappadocia in Turkey, which will take place in April 2015. 

Summer Party

We would like to invite you all to this year’s Mediterranean Section  Summer Party which will be held on Saturday 16th August  from 12.30pm at the home of Jane Murphy and Jeremy Harris in Shipton-under-Wychwood, Oxon.  Shipton-under-Wychwood is on the A361 some 4 miles north east of Burford and 6 miles south west of Chipping Norton. This area of the Cotswolds is accessible from both the M40 and M5.

Many cruisers rush from Gibraltar to the East Med, maybe because they think the West Med too expensive, or simply not a great cruising ground.

 Med Section Meeting & Talk – Thursday 20^th February 2014

Commencing at 18:45 we will have the usual, very brief, Section meeting to update on latest news etc.

At 19:15 Julian and Vanessa Dussek will then give a talk entitled  To or from the Mediterranean via the Canals and Rivers of France.

                    Med Section Boat Show Party 

    Wednesday 8th January at  CA House, commencing at 7pm.

Our Annual Boat Show party will take place during the week of the London Boat Show. 

Commencing at 18:45 we will have a very brief Section meeting to update on latest news etc.

At 19:15 Andy and Karen Miller will give a talk entitled "The equipment your yacht needs to get to the Med and in the Med".  

Summer Party

Join us for our regular summer event where you can meet old friends and make new ones. The food is always excellent and the drink plentiful.

Once again Angela and Bernard De Saulles have very kindly offered to host our Summer Party at their home near Sevenoaks, Kent.

Please note that this meeting was originally scheduled for 21st Feb.

We plan to have a Mediterranean sailing quiz during the evening. Further details to follow.
