Mediterranean Seminar

This two-day seminar is aimed at those both cruising the Med for the first time and those planning to move to new cruising grounds. Speakers are all Med CA members keen to share their knowledge and exchange ideas with the audience too. The whole weekend also offers the opportunity to meet fellow Med sailors, chat about experiences, future plans and all things cruising in a convivial environment.

He has written books and articles on ways to navigate using water, trees, weather and other natural phenomenon. He has led expeditions on land, sailed small boats across oceans, and piloted small aircraft to Africa and the Arctic.

A talk about the ways to extend cruising time in Europe for non-EU passport holders in light of the 90/180 day regulations, and based on RATS up-to-date information. A look at visas, and non-Schengen options. RATS are keen to hear of members actual experiences and are specifically looking to (financially) assist an initial application to each of Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Our annual Mediterranean Section Seminar will run over two days with day one focusing on how to prepare for Med cruising, CAptain's Mate, extending cruises beyond 90 days, Med weather, how the HLR service can help and First Aid. Day two will cover cruising grounds and the chance for 1:1 chats with people who know them well. This is a great opportunity to meet other Med cruisers and exchange cruising tips. Come for either day or both.
