We've had Essex Section lunches here before and the feedback was very good, so here we go again. We've reserved the room shown on the right which overlooks the river and when that's full it's full so come soon after noon to avoid disappointment if you want the view.
As a bonus, the tide will be coming in while you're eating so you'll see the Hythe Quay at high water (1425hrs) and at its best as you take your postprandial stroll. Parking is limited in the immediate vicinity of the quay but there is a large car park in the adjacent Promenade Park or others off the High Street, just a few minutes' walk away.
