Heavy Weather Sailing with Noel Dilly

Noel Dilly has been cruising for over 70 years. He now sails Whisper, a Rustler 36, with his wife Sandie. He will give us some salutary experiences of heavy weather sailing and some good advice!

Time: 19:00 (supper), talk begins 20:00, you can expect to get away by 22:00

Attending: All welcome. CA & BSC members: talk and meal £15, talk only £3. Non members: talk and meal £17, talk only £5

There is plenty of parking space. The Blackwater Sailing Club are rebuilding their club house and we will have our talks in the main Bar. Space is limited so please book early.

As usual the bar will be available. Please note that the CA now need to subsidise the bar if the takings are not sufficient to cover the cost of opening it so attendees are encouraged to make make full use of the facilities. (Except of course for your designated driver!)

A flyer is attached, please print for your sailing club notice board. Find this event in our online bookings facility or contact the section secretary at essex@theca.org.uk. BSC members can sign up at the club. You can turn up and pay on the door but we won't promise a meal unless you have booked.
