The Italians are getting quite keen on fining foreign-flagged yachts and the excuse of "i didn't know" has little effect. The HLR in Savona has no idea how this restriction will be enforced but his advice is to stay well clear.

On the 6th of March Neil and Pat Lynn were scheduled to give a talk about their trip around the Black Sea. Their talk had to be postponed for family reasons and Chris Smith stepped in with a different talk about Black Sea cruising.
Neil has now offered to give a shortened version of his talk on Wednesday 3rd of April at CA House. Theire will be plenty of time for questions and discussion after the talk. This is an area which currently sees only a few foreign cruisers but which more members are hoping to visit during the next couple of years.
These books have been in store since the move of the Library into the smaller space on the first floor some years ago. Please help the CA by drawing the sale to the attention of friends who may be interested in these topics.
