Dear Member,

In our August newsletter we said that we were planning an autumn rally over the weekend October 13-14 at Marchwood Yacht Club at the top of Southampton Water with an evening meal in their recently extended clubhouse. Walk-ashore pontoon moorings are available at the very reasonable cost of £10 per boat, and beer costs only £2 per pint. We hope that you will join us there in this less-visited part of our Solent cruising area. Further details are in the attached booking form.

Details of our rally to the Gins Farm clubhouse of the Royal Southampton YC over the weekend 14-15 September together with the booking form, are now available in the attachment. This is a great way to begin winding down from your summer cruising, but don't forget Marchwood in October.

This is usually the last summer meet of 2018, but please watch - they may be another up Southampton Water to Marchwood.

The first meeting of the Solent Section's winter programme will be held once again at The Waters Edge Restaurant, Mercury Marina, Hamble.

The fact that Gins Farm was billed as the last summer meet does not preclude another taking place in the autumn so here’s an opportunity to get together somewhere we haven’t been to for a while.
