It’s showtime! Southampton Boat Show 2019 preview

Plans are now well underway for a series of exciting CA announcements and events at this year’s Southampton International Boat Show, powered by Borrow a Boat taking place between 13-22 September.

CA Northern Roadshows

It was with great regret that we were forced to cancel both the Northern Roadshows, originally scheduled for 19 October in Birkenhead and 23 November in Nottingham, due to not having received enough advance bookings to make it cost effective.

The Cruising Association urges UK boaters to respond to HMRC consultation on the future of red diesel

IIn 2018 the Court of Justice of the European Union ruled that the UK should not allow private pleasure craft to continue to use red diesel. HMRC has just issued its consultation document which outlines the proposed change to white diesel for the propulsion of powered leisure craft, including inland boats. The document contains a number of questions for owners of diesel-powered craft.
